The Northern Sanctuary is a church-like building from Echoes of Wisdom.
Echoes of Wisdom
The Northern Sanctuary is first encountered swallowed by a rift, in a part of the Still World known as the Stilled Northern Sanctuary, which also covers much of the Graveyard.
After the rift is mended, Zelda can go inside to find three occupants, including a Cat. There is a man sitting in one of the pews who wishes for peace, health, and rupees.[1]. He also wishes for his wife to make Meat Stew for dinner.[2]. There is also a Priest who can be seen standing at the altar.
Zelda can speak to the priest to hear "rumors of the wide world", which serve as hints for the game.
- Gold-colored eggs:
- Have you heard tell of the eggs that shine like gold?
I've never seen one myself, as they're quite rare.
Apparently you can just eat them, but the true gourmet mixes one with something else.
I'm also given to understand that they can be sold for a handsome sum at the shops.

- Exotic smoothies:
- Apparently the Business Scrubs' latest venture is selling smoothies.
The extraordinary thing is that you can make new recipes by bringing in your own ingredients!
Besides tastiness, these smoothies bring a variety of benefits, though I'm not sure what those are.
If you're curious about them, a Business Scrub has a little stand just west of the sanctuary here.

- The Great Fairy:
- Southeast of Hyrule Field lies Lake Hylia, rumored to be home to a fairy of very great powers.
Supposedly, she can grant a powerful boon to those who meet her demands.
Oh, and she also has a great love for rupees, I am told.
If any of that intrigues you, perhaps you'll seek her out and discover the truth.

- Surviving extreme cold:
- I gather the best way to beat the cold is found at the Business Scrubs' Smoothie Shops.
Supposedly, one of these drinks is enough to keep you comfortable in the coldest of places!
It's called a Warm Smoothie, appropriately enough.
They are made with some ingredient that has "warm" in the name...

- Clothes to talk to cats:
- Incredibly, there apparently exists some kind of garment that enables you to understand cats!
According to my source, this garment is sold at the shop in Kakariko Village, west of here.
We have a cat here at the sanctuary, and I have long wondered what goes through his little mind.

- Dangerous monster:
- Do you know the quiet forest to the northwest of here?
I have heard that it is home to a particularly dangerous monster—one rarely seen.
If you spy any especially menacing tracks, please don't follow them. Who knows what you'll find?
- Do you know the quiet forest to the northwest of here?
If spoken to wearing the Cat Clothes, the cat observes merely that their "person-friend" is nice, lets them stay in the Northern Sanctuary, and that lots of people speak to him for a long time.[3]
